Attorney General Candidate Steve Dettelbach Reports $830,600 Raised this Period with Over $2.1 Million On Hand Heading into General Election Season
CLEVELAND — Dettelbach for Ohio Campaign Manager, Ian Moskowitz released the following statement today after the campaign filed its Pre-Primary report showing that the campaign raised $830,608 in less than three months. The report brings the campaign’s total raised to nearly $2.8 million for the election cycle.
“Dettelbach for Ohio is grateful for our over 5,000 donors who are backing Steve because they believe the person elected as Ohio’s next Attorney General should be an an independent prosecutor, not a career politician.”
“It should by now be no surprise that for the third period in a row Steve out-raised his career politician opponent. Steve has proven he will take on Ohio’s broken political system while Dave Yost can’t make it a single week without getting dragged into the middle of another Columbus corruption scandal. Ohioans in over 60 counties across the state are financially supporting Steve because they know he has the plan, the guts and the experience to protect Ohioans from corrupt politicians and violent criminals alike.”
“With nearly $2.1 million on hand, Dettelbach for Ohio is right where we want to be to communicate Steve’s plan to bring transparency and accountability back to the Statehouse and to end the hands off approach for big money donors like ECOT, even when they hurt Ohio kids and taxpayers.”
Steve Dettelbach, the Democratic candidate for Ohio Attorney General, is a former United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio and career federal prosecutor.
